Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a metering device for a medicament (1), in which the medicament (1) is stored in a solid, thixotropic, jelly-like or pasty form in a store (9). The medicament (1) is brought in unchanged form from the store (9) to the desired application site in the patient by a suitable conveying device (5;17;22). The conveyance rate is controlled by a predetermined program or else by the instantaneous requirements of the patient determined via a sensor (50). The metering device can be designed as an implantable device. It is preferably used for non-liquid insulin. <IMAGE>
