Abstract

Abstract Targeting device intended for the production of drilled channels for substitution of the cruciate ligaments. It comprises a drill sleeve mounting which is displaceable on a profiled guide section by means of a transverse arm and a counter-arm which determines the target point on the side of emergence of the drill. The targeting device has an exchangeable counter-arm which is made in different sizes. A curved sensing finger is mounted on the end of the counter-arm. The curvature and dimensions of this part exactly determine the point of emergence of the drill in the intercondylar region in accordance with the anatomical shape of a femoral condyle.
