Abstract

A shield for one of a housing or the like. The enclosed space against electromagnetic impulses consists of a coating, applied to the housing (1), of two or more layers (a and b) that are alternately electrically and magnetically conductive, arranged one above the other. The layers consist of a flowable, brushable or sprayable and then hardened base material and electrically or magnetically conductive particles embedded therein, and can be separated from one another by insulating spacer layers (c).
