Abstract
Abstract The invention describes the introduction of spacers between a matrix surface and covalently immobilised anticoagulants to improve their remaining activity after the immobilisation process, especially with respect to the employment of such antithrombogenically treated surfaces for use in direct or indirect medical detoxification of blood.
