Rotary multispindle head winding machine - has swivelling contact cylinder, compressible in first winding station against winding core during foil supply
Abstract
Abstract The spindle head of the winding mechanism is intended for continuously supplied foils to be wound on a core tube. It uses two winding stations reached by the rotation of the spindle head, the second one serving for winding a second roll after the first has been completed in the first station. The foil winding mechanism has a swivelling contact cylinder (13) which can be pressed in the first winding station (5) against the core tube (3), on supply of the foil (10). A guide cylinder (19) and a deflection cylinder (20) are pivotally mounted about the contact cylinder at a point in front of the contact point (b) between the contact cylinder and the core tube. A foil cutting device (15) has a blade (21) protruding from a bearing element (22) surface. Voltages from two rotation generators and a voltage corresp. to the current of two motors derived from an electrical current detector - are combined. This is then fed to a thyristor transducer to control either motor.
