Abstract
Abstract Hygienic absorption pad for insertion in panties or baby's napkins consists of foil, which is permeable to moisture, which absorbs moisture and which is impermeable to moisture, respectively. The impermeable foil is a two-component type, with the inner layer having m.pt. >=20 degrees C lower. Pref. materials for the outer layer are low pressure polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester or polyurethane, and for the inner layer high pressure polyethylene, polyisobutylene or a copolymer of high pressure polyethylene with vinyl acetate or vinyl acrylate. Pad is easy to mfr. and comfortable to the skin because of the absence of adhesives.
