Heat exchanger housing inserted between two sections of exhaust - recovers waste heat with by=pass regulated via temp. sensors and computing mechanism
Abstract
Abstract The heat exchanger is mounted in a unit which is inserted between two sections of an exhaust system in order to use the waste heat. It can be used in flue gas pipes or hot waste water exhaust systems. It functions in conjunction with a bypass which regulates the amount of waste energy flowing through the unit. The control of the bypass is regulated by the signals derived from temperature sensors. One temperature sensor is connected to a signal generator which is operated at a threshold value of temperature. Another temperature sensor feeds into a computing device which operates at the limiting values and intermediate values of the temperature.
