Turbine-driven, double-fed asynchronous generator
Abstract
Gleichzeitig wird der Phasenwinkel des Laeuferstromes durch die U...U.S.W The invention relates to an arrangement for converting kinetic energy into electrical energy, in which an asynchronous machine attached to a constant frequency network is driven by a turbine. In known arrangements, water power or wind power is converted into rotational energy, with which electrical machines (generators) are then driven. In order to be able to feed into a network with a constant frequency, these machines require a correspondingly constant speed. With wind power, very different wind speeds and very long time constants must be expected, so that a constant speed, as is required for network operation, does not come about. This also applies to hydropower with strongly fluctuating slopes, e.g. tidal power plants. The object of the invention is to enable electrical energy to be fed into the network at a constant frequency at a variable speed of an asynchronous machine. The solution to this task is that the rotor of the asynchronous machine is connected via a static converter to the same frequency-constant network as the stand, and that the output voltage of the converter is changed in frequency by controlling the thyristors in such a way that the sum of the Runner's printed frequency and that of the variable runner speed is proportional to the frequency. At the same time, the phase angle of the runner current is determined by the U ... U.S.W
