Shower head for domestic shower - has overflow edge with inclined surface leading from flow smoothing chamber to form low-speed water curtain
Abstract
Abstract The shower is esp. for stationary mounting in shower cubicles. It consists of a water inlet, a distribution chamber, and a water outlet. The outlet is formed as an overflow edge (17) with connected downwardly inclined section (13). A smoothing section (42) is located between distribution chamber (14) and overflow edge. The controlling section consists of deflection elements with the free flow cross section increasing towards the overflow edge. The downward section (13) is formed by an inclined surface (15), with a gradient of 15-40 deg. pref. 20-30 deg. with a fow path length between 50-120 mm, pref. 70-90 mm. The end of the inclined surface has a breaking edge (21).
