Abstract
Abstract An intrauterine catheter has a central guide rod (2) with a longitudinal channel (1) with a sharp puncturing point (3) at its forward end. A conical head piece (4) with an external opening (5) for the channel (1) is provided which can be retracted behind the puncturing point (3) as well as projected in front of it as required. A hose (11) which can be released from its hand grip (9) attachment (14, 15) can be positioned in one of two situations relative to the channel (1), in which it either seals off the puncturing point (3) or exposes it for use.
