Identification label with adhesive backing - has coloured background lines and label markings printed on transparent strip

Abstract

Abstract The identification label has a self-adhesive layer for sticking it to the required object, with the material structure of the label being such that its appearance is altered by its removal from the object. The label is formed from a colourless transparent foil layer on which the label markings and coloured background lines are printed. The background lines are in the from of spaced wavy lines so that the lines and the spaces between them form a regular pattern, which is destroyed when the lable is removed from the labelled object. The wavy lines are provided by a pulverised metal layer, e.g. of aluminium.
