Rotation setter for hydromotors - has internal piston system coupled to control rod and external inputs and outputs
Abstract
Abstract A rotational rate setting device for hydromotors has several separate junctions on the cylinder block to allow input and output of pressurised medium and the pressure admission of each junction is associated with predetermined settings of the rate control rod. The cylinder has several pistons of which the lowest is connected directly to the rate control rod. The lowest junction lies below the bottom piston, the next two between pistons and the top most junction is situated above the top piston. This arrangement enables the stipulated number of revolutions to be quickly and accurately set yet with modest constructional requirements and component list.
