Abstract

Abstract The probe has electrode-tongs at a first end, and an operating handle for operating the tongs at a second end, of a tube, which is electrically insulated, externally, at least, and in which a conductor for the passage of current to the jaws of the tongs is located, which is axially movable in one direction against a restoring force, for the opening closing of the tongs. Two mutually insulated conductors are provided, the free ends, outside the tub, of which form the two jaws of bipolar electrode-tongs. The probe is suitable for carrying out coagulation in a desired, narrowly defined place.
