Lung-controlled respirator - has inhalation valve closed, against supply pre-pressure, on reaching desired excess press. in inner space
Abstract
Abstract Lung-controlled respirator with excess press. in the inner space for respiration of the user has a control diaphragm sealingly connected to the housing part and closing off the inner space, which is connected by an inhalation valve to a respiratory gas supply which is at an elevated pre-pressure. The valve is operatively connected to the diaphragm by a pivoted rocker lever in the inner space, to pivot between its connections to the diaphragm and valve. An exhalation valve first opens when the desired excess press. in the inner space is exceeded. The outer side of the diaphragm is acted on by the environmental press. The inhalation valve can be opened with the pre-pressure, and its surface on which this press. acts, the diaphragm's surface exposed to internal press., and the arms of the rocker lever are dimensioned such that the inhalation valve can be first closed on reaching the desired excess press. in the inner space, against the force exerted on it by the pre-pressure, by the control diaphragm.
