Abstract
Abstract On the mid length of the valve stem is arranged a diaphragm with a plastics diaphragm and a metallic snap action diaphragm. This diaphragm arrangement ensures that the valve is not allowed to float in its mid position but it is snapped firmly into one of its end positions when the actuating pressure is applied. The metal membrane has a circumferential clamping rim and a number of spokes which connect the central part of the metal diaphragm to the edge rim, and is dished between rim and hub away from the applied pressure.
