Abstract
Abstract A yarn path on a warp knitting of Raschel machine, which, when the pattern uses more or less yarn than the warp is feeding, has a tensioned rod which takes up the variations in the fed length. The rod is on a leaf spring, on whose fulcrum a pendulum exerts a pressure. As the feed in is more than the stitch length, the rod is pivoted and the yarn tension remains constant. Instead of a pendulum, the rod can be pivoted on a double lever, and moved by a cam to suit the requirements of the pattern.
