Abstract
Abstract The installation has a cutting machine (24) for cutting the glass plates (T) into individual glass panes according to a cutting plan. A first breaking machine (48) serves to successively break open the X-cuts, which are continuous over the entire glass plate (T). A downstream, second dynamic breaking machine (56) serves to successively break open the Y-cuts, which are continuous from X-cut to X-cut. The first breaking machine (48) is of static design, as a result of which especially careful and exact breaking-open of the X-cuts is possible. <IMAGE>
