Abstract
Abstract A plate (2) floats in a water container (1) of the device. When a fan (3) is switched on, air flows through a bellows (4) and lifts the plate (2) above the water surface. The air, which flows through between the water surface and the lower surface of the plate (2) which is moistened by water turbulence, absorbs moisture and leaves the humidifier through an opening (8). The humidifier capacity decreases only slightly even with scaling of the plate. The device can, moreover, be cleaned easily. <IMAGE>
