Abstract

Abstract The electric construction kit has clamping blocks which may be detachably plugged into a base plate and fitted with a contact clamp slot (27) to receive and attach the connectors (25, 28) of switch elements. The clamp slot (27) is located in a plane extending transverse to the direction of plugging on of the clamping blocks (13) on to the base plate (10) and is formed by a counter bearing (22, 23) and a contact jaw (19) pre-tensioned by a spring towards the counter bearing. Each clamping block has an insulated housing (14) containing the contact clamp slot (27), with through lead openings (17, 18) located within its plane.
