Small electric light with cooling system - has internal heat and light reflecting surfaces and air cooling channels
Abstract
Abstract The electrical small lamp with low voltage halogen incandescent canp has a reflector and an internal heat and light reflecting part. The heat generated is removed by an air stream. This maintains low temperature within the lamp and protects the plastic surfaces of the reflector. The lamp is sealed against splashing water. The lamp (1) is held in a housing with an external thermally insulating housing (3). A cooling air gap (4) is formed between the light and heat reflecting internal parts and the thermally insulating external parts. In order to alter the manner in which the light is distributed the inner section, together with the light- and reflection portions are interchangeable with other components of different geometry.
