Abstract

Abstract In a method of making a floor boarding unit comprising a wearing layer of abutting hardwood boards glued onto a supporting frame and having a filling insulating layer of foam plastics between the frame members and surrounding the frame, the hardwood wearing layer is first placed upside down in a mould and then the supporting frame is pressed down against it by means of pegs projecting down from the mould lid; the foam constituents are then introduced and the foam produced in the mould.
