Abstract

Abstract The prepn. contains an anionic optical brightener and a polyether-amine in a wt. ratio of 1:1-15 pref. 1:3-11. Brighteners are pref. of the stilbene-triazinyl series. The polyether-amines can be prepd. by reacting an excess of aliphatic polyamines with prim. or sec. amino gp(s) and opt. OH gps. having mol. wt. is not >200, with polyepihalohydrins contg. 3-25 halomethyl gps. distilling off the excess polyamine and reacting the resultant polyether-amine with a crosslinking agent in aq. soln. so that the viscosity rises and the mixt. remains water-sol.
