Abstract
Abstract A screw-shaped trickling rotor for a mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant comprises sector-shaped plates, overlapping in succession to constitute a continuous screw surface, the plates being fixed in a helical groove running round the rotor hub. Clamping members hold the plates together, and distance pieces space adjacent turns of the screw surface apart.
