Prepn of azo dyes - for textile materials

Abstract

Abstract Dyestuffs (I) of the azo series Suitable for the colouration of paper and acrylonitrile polymers or mixed polymers and for cotton and other cellulosic materials. Also for plastics, leather, synthetic polyamides or polyesters by suitable modification. The colours on paper exhibit good bleach, water, alcohol and light fastness. On polyacrylonitriles the dyestuffs also exhibit very good fastness properties and possess good water solubility, pH stability and good build up.
