Abstract

Abstract Unsaturated ethers for combatting endo-and ectoparasites and vectors. Ethers of formula:- (Z)n-Ar-X-R2-C=CY (where Ar a mono- or bi-nuclear carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring, Z is H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkylthio, 1-4C alkylsulphinyl, 1-4C alkylsulphonyl, 1-4C dialkylsulphonamine, methylenedioxy, -CN, -NO2, -CF3 and/or N=C, n is integer 1-5, Z gps. may be identical or different, X is O, S, or (where R1 is H, or a 1-4C alkyl, or cyano, R2 is linear or branched alkylene and Y is H, or halogen, pref. a bromine or iodine), for combatting endo- or ecto-parasites and/or vectors.
