Abstract
Abstract Filter consists of a filter cloth wound over a vertical support frame which may be rigid or elastic. In the frame may be one or more helical springs side by side. The filter cloth is stretched on a flexible tube and has folds due to the pressure in the separator. The formation of the dust layer takes place over these folds. The cleaning of the filter is done by reverse flow of air where the support frame is rigid and by a shrink-and-stretch arrangement in the case where the lower end of the frame is movable.
