Abstract

Abstract filter tube, particularly for soil drainage or in water wells as a shaft lining, comprises a glass fibre reinforced plastic wound body, consisting of glass fibre reinforced plastic strip wound round the tube axis in left and right hand crossing helices, each with the same pitch, the parallel strips being spaced apart in such a way that the dimensions of the apertures between the crossing strips determine the size of the filter openings.
