Abstract
Abstract Copolymer consisting of (a) 80-90% of an ester of an alkylpolyethylene glycol with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid; (b) 5-10% of N-methylolamide of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (c) 5-10% of an ethylenically unsaturatd cpd. contg. at least one acidic water-solubilising group, used in an antistatic finish for textils according to the Parent Patent No 478286, is modified in that the N-methylolamide (component b) is etherified, pref. with a C1-4 alkanol. - Very good antistatic properties and soil removal are achieved.
