Abstract The pparatus disclosed in the parent patent for purifying a gas stream has in place of the deflector and saw-tooth baffle, two assemblies each comprising a second deflector and baffle, the rectilinear assemblies converging towards each other from top to bottom, with the inlet orifice in line with two outlet orifices so as to form an inlet chamber tapering both in the horizontal and the vertical plane. ..ER ALL
