Abstract

Abstract ABSTRACT The invention consists of a box shaped electrical assembly with a frontal cover and screw connections for the connection leads accessible from the front. The cable lead openings to the screw connections are located in an open-to-the-front, longitudinal channel, whereby the longitudinal channel is located at the front of the assembly. The cover acts as a labelling plate and also functions as cover for the longitudinal channel and for the screw connections. The screw connections electrically connect an external cable to a plug unit subassembly. The plug unit is connectable with a circuit board enclosed within the assembly. The plug unit is provided with a pivotal axis, and is adapted for connecting to a plug strip that is mechanically and electronically connected to the circuit board.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 114 words
A box-shaped electrical assembly with frontally accessible screw connections designed as a plug unit for connection leads, whereby connection lead openings of the screw connections exit through a frontal longitudinal channel and whereby the plug unit provided with a pivotal axis is connectable to a circuit board provided in the assembly, characterized in that a cover designed as a labelling plate covers the longitudinal channel and the screw connections on the front of the assembly and a test point strip adapted to the plug unit is connected electrically and mechanically to the circuit board and that the plug unit is provided with a pivotal axis supported by means mounted on the test point strip.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 114 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 39 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 1, the improvement further comprising the plug unit provided with a longitudinal channel; and a side panel of the electrical assembly located opposite to the screw connections, which is removable from the assembly.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 42 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 1, the improvement further comprising: a plurality of adjacent LEDs, along with the screw connection flanking on one side of the longitudinal channel; and the labelling plate during operational mode is located next to the LEDs.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 20 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 3, further comprising a holder connected in which the plurality of LEDs are arranged.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 35 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a frontally accessible fuse module, as seen from the front behind the plug unit and after pivoting of the plug unit, is attached to the assembly.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 35 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a frontally accessible adjustment module, as seen from the front, behind the plug unit and after pivoting of the plug unit; is attached to the assembly.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 24 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 5, wherein the sidewalls of the module are connected to the plug strip by means of dovetail connection.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 24 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 6, wherein the sidewalls of the module are connected to the plug strip by means of dovetail connection.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 41 words
The electrical assembly according to claim 5, further comprising an attachment screw which screws into the threaded hole of the plug strip located at the side of the plug unit opposite to the pivot axis, placed in an axially stationary bearing.
Claim 11
Independent Claim 95 words
A method for attaching an LED holder to a circuit board of an electrical assembly comprising the steps of: feeding leads of LEDS along grooves of the holder on a component side of the circuit board into electrical connection openings, and breakable rest studs of the holder into mechanical connection openings; -11a-soldering the electrical connections and the mechanical connections; and rotating the holder 90 degrees, bending the leads, breaking off the rest studs, and securing the holder to the front side of the circuit board by means of hooks formed a part of the holder.
Claim 12
