Abstract

Abstract Abstract of the Disclosure A polymerizable dental composition containing methacrylate monomer(s) and free radical polymerization catalyst for said monomer(s), the monomer(s) having been treated with a sulfonated cation-exchange resin in free acid form prior to contact thereof with said catalyst or during contact thereof with said catalyst but prior to free radical liber- ation by said catalyst, to improve the stability of the monomer(s) - catalyst system against polymerization, particularly under ambient conditions.
