Claim 1
Independent Claim
75 words
A light-sensitive copying material comprising a layer support and a positive light-sensitive layer thereon which comprises as the light-sensi-tive substance a 1,2-naphthoquinone-diazide or a mixture composed of a com-pound which forms a strong acid upon exposure and a compound which has at least one acid-cleavable C-O-C-bond, said layer having a rough surface and a content of finely divided particles, wherein the smallest dimension of the particles corresponds at least to the thickness of the layer.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
21 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 1 wherein the average diameter of the particles ranges between about 1 and 20 µm.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
21 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 1 wherein the thickness of the light-sensitive layer is from about 0.1 to 5 µm.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
23 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 1 wherein the light-sensitive layer contains from about 0.02 to 2.0% by weight of finely divided particles.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
28 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 1 wherein the average diameter of the particles is from about 1 to 15 µm larger than the thickness of the layer.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
34 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 1 wherein the particles are silica, aluminum oxide, aluminum silicate, aluminum hydroxide, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide, or an organic polymer which is insoluble in the coating solvent.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
29 words
Copying material as claimed in claim 6 wherein the light-sensitive layer contains a resin which is insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents and in dilute aqueous-alkaline solutions.
