Abstract

Abstract A b s t r a c t The invention relates to a coupling element for the coupling together of two building elements, of which one exhibits a tunnel-shaped space, into which the coupling element in mounted condition is inserted and to which it is locked. The coupling element moreover exhibits a projecting head, which can be coupled together with the other building element. The coupling element comprises two parts, viz. one piston-like lock bolt provided with said head and a shell case, in which said part can be axially displaced, the outer contour of the shell case following the inner form of the tunnel-shaped space. In the shell case (2) there is a laterally displaceable insert (1), which exhibits a lateral socket (17), which in a sideways displaced position cooperates with a hole (18) of the wall of the tunnel-shaped space by engaging said hole. Inside of the insert (1) the shell case (2) supports a transversely directed springing tongue (15), which is arranged in such a manner that for one thing it tends to displace the lock bolt (3) in outwards direction and for another thing to displace the insert (1) in sideways direction, before the lock bolt has been inserted into the shell case.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 445 words
Coupling element for the detachable coupling together of two building elements, of which the first one in its side exhibits an opening, to which an inwards facing stop dog surface in the interior of the building element is connected, and the other one exhibits a tunnel-shaped cavity, which in mounted condition is open in direction to said first element, the coupling element comprising an insert, which before the mounting operation of the two building elements can be intro-duced into the tunnel-shaped cavity and comprises for one thing a lock assembly adapted to the cross-sectional form of the tunnel-shaped cavity, to which it can be locked, and for another thing a lock bolt, which can be displaced in and locked to the lock assembly, which lock bolt exhibits a head, said head being provided with shoulders, which under axial displacement of the lock bolt can be pressed against said inwards facing stop dog surfaces, the axial displacement and the locking together taking place by means of a sideways pointing tightening screw, which can be reached through a lateral opening of the wall of the tunnel-shaped cavity, and the end portion of which tightening screw cooperates with an oblique surface of the lock bolt, said lock bolt being sub-jected to the bias of a spring in the projecting direction, characterized by the lock assembly comprising for one thing a shell case, the outer form of which follws the tunnel-shaped cavity and the inner form of which follows the outer contour of the lock bolt, and for another thing an insert, which is in sideways direction displaceable relative to the shell case and on one of its sides exhibits a socket and an axial hole, which in inserted conditiion of the lock bolt is traversed by the same, the distance between the hole and the outer limit of the lateral socket being adapted in such a way that in inserted condition of the lock bolt the socket extends outside of the outer contour of the shell case into a hole through the wall of the tunnel-shaped space and thus locks the lock assembly against any axial displacement relative to said other building element, the shell case inside of said insert supporting a transverse springing tongue, which in inserted condition of the lock bolt with spring bias abuts against its end and thus tends to push the same in outwards direction, in which arrange-ment the springing tongue in extracted condition of the lock bolt can bear against a stop dog of the insert in such a way that the springing tongue with spring bias tends to maintain the insert in a sideways displaced position relative to the shell case.

Claim 4
Dependent Claim 29 words
Coupling element according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the insert being introduced into the shell case through an opening made in the wall of said shell case.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 38 words
Coupling element according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the springing tongoue being bent in an arc and exhibiting a projection in a stop dog arrangement cooper-ating with the wall of the axial hole of the insert.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 21 words
Coupling element according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the tongue being cast in an integrated part with the shell.
