Abstract
Abstract A B S T R A C T Anchor means for panels comprises an insertion member for driving into the end edge of a panel and a prong for removable insertion into a slot or aperture in a support structure. A connector between the insertion means and the prong achieves correct location of the insertion means when the insertion means is inserted into such end edge. The insertion means, connector and prong are a single, integrally connected member.

Independent Claim
207 words
Anchor means for panels comprising an integrally connected panel attachment member and support attachment member of resilient material, said panel attachment member comprising : a insertion member designed for driving insertion into the edge surface of a panel, a connector integrally connected thereto for extending from said insertion member, when inserted, to the plane of a side surface of such panel, a guide extent, integrally extending from said connector, at the opposite end from said insertion, arranged to rest against such side surface of said panel when said insertion member is inserted in said panel, said support attachment member comprising a prong member designed with said insertion member, connector and guide in place, to project from the panel approximately perpendicular to the plane of the panel, said prong member being substantially hairpin shaped with the bight arranged to be remote from the panel when said members are in place, a pair of extents integrally extending from said bight initially diverging in then converging at said panel, one of said extents being integrally connected to the end of said guide extent which is remote from said connector, the other extent being provided with an integral extension to a free end in a direction away from said guide member.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
50 words
Anchor means as claimed in claim 1 wherein said integral extension is directed, when said support member is unbiased, in a direction away from said guide member but also to extend at a small angle in a direction which would be away from a surface contacted by said guide member.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
40 words
Anchor means as claimed in claim 1 wherein said resilient material is in the form of a flat relatively thin strip bent about its narrow dimension to form the parts of said panel attach-ment member and said support attachment member.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
40 words
Anchor means as claimed in claim 2 wherein said resilient material is in the form of a flat relatively thin strip bent about its narrow dimension to form the parts of said panel attachment member and said support attachment member.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
32 words
Anchor means as claimed in claim 3 wherein said guide member is provided with a bifurcated extension to extend along the surface of said panel on each side of said integral extension.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
31 words
Anchor means as claimed in claim 4 wherein said guide member is provided with bifurcated extension to extend along the surface of said panel on each side of said integral extension.
