Abstract
Abstract Pharmaceutical compsns. for treating disorders of the urinary tract, esp. bladder dysfunction, e.g. urinary incontinence, enuresis or over frequent urination, contain oxybutynin chloride (I), i.e. dl-4-diethylamino -2-butynylohenyl cyclohexylglycolate hydrochloride. - Tablets, capsules, granules or pills contain 1-5 (esp. 5) mg of (I) and are given 1-4 times a day. Syrups contain 1-5 (esp 5) mg of (I( per 5 ml. Transdermal compsns. (creams or ointments) contain 1-10 wt.% (I). Other formulations include emulsions, suspensions, injectable solns. or drops.
