Abstract Translated from French Produits manufacturés thermorétractiles (par exemple manchon 1) faits de polymères semi-cristallins ayant des températures de transition vitreuse, (tg)supérieures à environ 25 degrés C qui manifestent des contraintes de rétraction étonnamment élevées dans certaines conditions. Pour fabriquer ce produit manufacturé thermorétractile, on chauffe le produit manufacturé au-delà de la Tg, on le déforme entre Tg et Tm et on le refroidit au-dessous de Tg, tandis que l'état de déformation est entretenu. Heat shrinkable manufactured products (eg sleeve 1) made of semi-crystalline polymers having glass transition temperatures, (tg) greater than about 25 degrees C which exhibit surprisingly high shrinkage stresses under certain conditions. To manufacture this heat-shrinkable manufactured product, the manufactured product is heated beyond the Tg, it is deformed between Tg and Tm and it is cooled below Tg, while the deformation state is maintained.
