Abstract

Abstract The mirror includes a cross-shaped base with a supporting block (a) mounted at its centre. This carries a flexible element (b) and further cross-shaped element. The lower cross carries four coils (c1,c2,d1,d2) on its four ends. The upper cross has a mirror mounted centrally so that it can be tilted by the action of the electromagnet pulling on an appropriate end of the cross. - The coils are in pairs to deflect the mirror, which in turn deflects a laser beam both vertically and horizontally. The dimensions vary according to the max. angle of variation required.(2a/2)
