Abstract
Abstract The demodulator for phase-modulated data signals has an automatic gain control circuit which is not affected by noise in the input signal. The input is fed via a filter and attenuator to an intermediate frequency amplifier and to a series of analogue multipliers, amplifiers and delay circuits. These circuits are controlled by the automatic gain control circuit. The circuit also uses a quality-seeking generator circuit and a double feedback loop. The circuit is less affected by noise-induced errors at the input.
