Device for producing hollow bodies using wires assembled using a binder
Abstract
Abstract 1,086,341. Covering cores by winding. SUDAVIATION, SOCIETE NATIONALE DE CONSTRUCTIONS AERONAUTIQUES. June 23, 1965 [June 24, 1964], No. 26490/65. Addition to 1,005,826. Heading B8G. The apparatus described in Specification 1,005,826 is now so geared that whilst the mandrel 21 rotates once, the table 1 rotates at least twice. Fig. 1 is an end view of the winding resulting from one revolution of the mandrel about its longitudinal axis whilst the table carrying the mandrel rotates five times. Starting at O 1 the thread proceeds across the front end to A, along the side to B, across the rear to C, along the side to D, across the front to E, and so on through F to T and finally to O 6 which is side-by-side with O 1 The procedure is then repeated. The windings leave a circular aperture at each end in the resultant body. The gearing includes a differential device, one shaft of which is geared to the table and the other shaft of which is geared to the mandrel, the cage of this differential being diven by a speed-regulating device.
